If you wish to receive the benefit for temporary incapacity to work, please notify the nurse on the first day of your illness.

The benefit for temporary incapacity to work cannot be processed retroactively! An exception is made if a patient receives emergency treatment and obtains all necessary documentation from the ambulance paramedics or the emergency department within two business days.

The patient is required to see their doctor once a week during the medical absence period, unless arranged otherwise.

Failure to show up is considered to be a violation of temporary incapacity to work protocol. All further payments for the days missed from work will be discontinued on the day the violation occurs.

At the end of the medical absence period your doctor will issue an electronic form to authorize the benefit for temporary incapacity to work and forward it to the health insurance database.
